My friend and I tried something called the, “Lincoln burger” today at 5 Guys.
Only one of our finest Presidents could share a name with a hotdog-stuffed-double- cheeseburger.
Jon referred to it as our, “Appetizer”

Maybe it was a childhood of Mcdonald’s which keeps me away from burgers, but today I had a super enjoyable lustfest over meat, cheese and a crispy bun…

The Sherill Milnes & Friends program is over and for once in my miserable life I am going to say positive things!
If you are an aspiring opera singer with money enough for a summer festival then this should be a top choice.
I could go on about the great staff (lots from Manhattan School and NYC) and DAVID FRIEDMAN (he’s more for the musical theater leaning kids but still works beautifully with arias) but the highlight of this program is how much individual time each singer gets with coaches and teachers and stage time.
Everyone sings! From the 30 year olds to the 19 year olds.
Even if I’m not still singing opera next year (I’m starting to lean more towards theater) if I have the money I’d go back just for the supportive enviornment and performance opportunities.
My next show is: Die Fledermaus with St. Pete Opera!

For all my singer followers,
I’m attending the Sherrill Milnes and Friends program in Tampa, FL this month.
It’s only day 2 and I feel like I’ve gained so much more than a full month at Songfest.
The staff/teachers/coaches are all eager to HELP (omg)
I’ll give more details as the program goes on.
So far so good.
Oh and Milnes is awesome
