The Sherill Milnes & Friends program is over and for once in my miserable life I am going to say positive things!
If you are an aspiring opera singer with money enough for a summer festival then this should be a top choice.
I could go on about the great staff (lots from Manhattan School and NYC) and DAVID FRIEDMAN (he’s more for the musical theater leaning kids but still works...

Summer program, Part 2
For all my singer followers,
I’m attending the Sherrill Milnes and Friends program in Tampa, FL this month.
It’s only day 2 and I feel like I’ve gained so much more than a full month at Songfest.
The staff/teachers/coaches are all eager to HELP (omg)
I’ll give more details as the program goes on.
So far so good.
Oh and Milnes is awesome

I watched a teacher tear up just talking about how much she used to love singing and how she equally loves teaching young singers.
Then I sat in on her class and realized she wasn’t full of shit. This woman LOVES what she does.
SAY WHAT? I’m not used to genuine, honest artists.
